Perched above the city, the viewpoint offers a wide panoramic view of Kandy Lake, the historic temple complex, and the surrounding mountain ranges that define the central highlands of Sri Lanka. The view is especially striking during sunrise and sunset, when the city is bathed in soft light and mist rolls over the hills.
